so, i wanted to lay in bed and watch a movie this morning and i picked murphy's romance because i really love james garner. it's a movie where recently divorced sally field and her young son corey haim, didn't even realize that, move from CA to maybe Wyoming and she opens a horse boarding and training place.
she's getting to know much older, local, mild radical james garner when her ex come around and moves in because he's broke. she doesn't sleep with either but has them both around until she decided to kick out her husband, although he leave on his own because it turns out he has new twin sons, and she finally makes out with james garner, who's 27 years older than her.
first of all, she's supposed to be 33, but she seems old.
second, james garner won't tell her his age, like a lady.
third, they had awful music in movies in the 80s. i mean really bad stuff.
this movie didn't help me decide if i can date an older man, but i did feel uncomfortable almost the whole movie.

27 years is a big gap. i think i could date anyone that had similar body decay to me, you know? similar wrinkles, similar sags, etc.
