The Dame with the Great Get Away Sticks

My laptop is broken. Well, I'm not really sure if it's completely broken, but maybe the keyboard and mousepad won't work. I'm putting it away for a little while, I was too addicted anyway, and I've been reading more books which is making me less stressed out. This is why I don't take those moving floor things in airports. Sometimes you need to go slow. Of course, I never have anything too heavy to carry. I'm throwing stones from a glass library. I should probably also suspend my Netflix account. This means I'll be watching more DVD's and will be at the mercy of collection of whatever library I happen to be working at that day. I'm going to have to start requesting TV DVDs now. Starting with Ms. Mars.

Speaking of, this is a great show. Thank you for telling me over and over again to watch it. You were right. There are great cultural references and I wish there were more. She and her father did this whole bit where they talk like detectives from the 1930s and it was awesome. I like her friends and how people have flaws. I love the actress who plays her dead best friend. I got really psyched when she showed up as a hallucination to her brother and as a ghost to VM. I'm totally grossed out that VM might be a Kane, so don't tell me how that plays out. And, seriously, who killed Lily Kane? Okay, don't tell me that either.

I love Veronica Mars. One issue I take with it is that she changed superficially a lot when she eschewed or was eschewed by the popular kids. I like that Buffy stays the same, like wears cheesy girl clothes and stuff. But I like VM's new hair better than her bad wig from the popular days, so, really, what am I complaining for?
